At 21st century, disability is still a Major Problem in our society especially in Africa where little or no attention is given to person living with disability by government, families and other existing non-governmental organization. The common negative attitude is yet unconnected with the great myths, taboo and superstitions being attached to different forms of disability in our society mostly the disability by birth.

What is more, at the 2020 Annual General Meeting, HAEI management and the technical team decided to broaden its mandate to include people with special needs, especially the left-handed children in schools and communities in Nigeria. Having seen the rate and procedures of conversion of the lefthanded children to righthanded after much torture, while those children who insist on using their left hand always use the phrase ‘pardon my left’ before it could be accepted in the public event at family level.
